Joe was named the 2011 Metropolitan PGA Teacher of the Year.

For the 2012 season, The “Golf Long Island Segment” on News 12 is back – for the 15th consecutive year – and Joe’s segments will being airing every Wednesday starting the week of April 18th.
June 10th – Joe will sit on a panel at the MET PGA Educational Forum to iscuss is “best Practices” for coaching his golf students.

August 11th, 2011 – Congratulations to Krissy Unger who won the girls division, Frank Amicizia who tied for first, and Justin Hurley who tied for third at the MET PGA Tournament held at Indian Hills CC.
August 8th, 2011 – Congratulations to Christopher Brosi (co-medalist) and Chris Sabanos for qualifying for the Long Island Junior Match Play Championship.
July 25th, 2011 – Congratulations to Christopher Brosi who won the MET PGA Tournament held at Port jefferson Country Club.
Congratulations to Cameron Lambertson. She will be attending St. John’s University in the fall and will be playing on the women’s golf team (Division 1).
Congratulations to Krissy Under who won THREE consecutive tournaments in the girls 15-18 division!

June 18th, 2009 – Joe will be speaking about the golf swing at the Barnes and Noble store in Commack.

June 22nd, 2009 – In the morning, Joe will be signing books for particpants in the 2009 Big Brothers Big Sisters charity golf outing at The Creek Club. In the afternoon, he will be conducting a “Beat The Pro” contest at IHCC for the Carleigh Mac Charity Tournament.

March 18th, 2009 – Joe will be presenting a golf swing/learning golf seminar to the Golf Professional Management students at Penn State University.

February 18th, 2009 – Joe will be presenting a golf swing/learning golf seminar to the Golf Professional Management students at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.

February 19th, 2009 – Joe will be presenting a golf swing/learning golf seminar to the Golf Professional Management students at North Carolina State University.

January 25th and 26th, 2009 – Joe is attending TPI Level 2 Golf Instructor seminar and certification.

January 10th, 11th, 2009 – Joe is attending the TPI Golf Fitness Certification Seminar in Seattle, WA.

2008 Events

December 20th – Joe will be signing books at Waldenbooks in the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington, NY

October 21st – Joe is giving a seminar at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI to the students in the Professional Golf Management program.

Weds., September 4th – Joe will be speaking about the golf swing to the Greens at Half Hollow Men’s Club at the Half Hollow Hills library.
